Our “BATES” Signature and “BATES II” Flagpoles are engineered to commercial-grade standards, featuring a nominal wall thickness of .156" (BATES Signature) and .146" (BATES II) throughout. These thicknesses match those found in commercial tapered flagpoles and are specifically designed and proven to withstand Florida’s tropical storms and hurricane-force winds.
